The other day I realized my audience is mostly women between the ages of 25-35 and I would love to create more content especially for us. If you are not in this demographic, let me tell you, we are who you need to please so it would benefit you to tune in. 

If you keep up with me, you are aware of all the sudden as well as gradual changes that I’ve had in the last 6 months. Some have been very fun and stimulating, others not so much... pero ahi vamos! BEING A LATIN POP STAR

So in December last year, I got home from a month-long trip to LA and went straight to the studio. It’s now been 6 months and it’s gotten very good. OKAY. Soo good. Shout The Shop Studios in Richmond CA. Follow them and support them. @1theshopstudios

I have so much fun and find lots of relief and freedom in writing music. When the engineer bounces the file and I can listen on my headphones, I can honestly say nothing matters and nothing can compare to that. I love the ability to go through something worth writing about, articulating it and then materializing it. The writing process starts as soon as the nervous system says so. The moment something moves me, I can feel the concept for a song forming. It's a superb vibe. So far I’ve written the vast majority of 9 songs. All completely true and all very much on brand. I have based my current musical body of work on crystal healing, ritualistic practices, the phases of the moon, being a bad bitch and learning from romantic despair. Since this venture is still a baby to me, I treat it with a lot of respect and handle it with care.

I’ve never heard music like mine before. It’s all in Spanish and I pull influence from the latest Spanish pop yes, but also southern rap, experimental music like Denitia and Sene, icons like SantiGold and MIA. I know eventually I will have to fit in somewhere in the bigger picture, but for now I am just waking up as the performing artist that I am. The music is all channeled messages. I love the persona that takes over for me in my recording mode. She does not give a fuck.. She’s high maintenance, she’s sexually liberated, she’s claiming what’s hers, she’s petty afffff and she encourages me. I remember in my last relationship I felt very insecure and was forced to turn my energy down constantly. It was so debilitating.. I started listening to a lot of Spanish pop and I’d tell the guy I was seeing, “I’m gonna make music like this..” I didn’t really believe it when I’d say it, it was a way for me to take my power back. I felt like, ‘I found this music, this is my thing. I’m gonna own this for me and fuck you and your limitations.’  But the higher me was listening and orchestrating the extreme bounce back in the 5D, bitch! Because look at me now. I summoned Rap Game Salma Hayek, Rap Game Princess Bubblegum, I was like, “I need help.” and they were like, “here we come with a vengeance.” The petty flex is a hilarious factor to me. LOL 

What I learned so far from making music is:

✨I can’t wear a high ponytail to the studio because then the headphones are on my forehead and I can’t focus.

✨The only timeline or concept of time that exists is the one I create, everything in this space is fluid and not in a hurry.

✨Not all songs will see the light of day.. And that’s okay!

✨Nothing is off limits when I am writing. The more exposed I feel, the better and more genuine the work is.

✨If your engineer is hungry, sad, dehydrated, needs caffeine ect.  then you gotta go in there and bring snacks and the energy. Be patient, respectful and be a team player. They turn into an extension of you during this time, so it’s reciprocal. You have the potential to create a whole new world when you show up and during the session. This is great intel for being a more established artist, always use your power for good.

SEX & DATING

As of late, I’ve considered letting a romantic partner back in.. big mistake! Just kidding.. Mostly. Now that I am on the other side of a lot of tough lessons and am also a new kind of creative, I definitely see this reflecting in my relationships. I have a better sense of purpose now. I have a new lifestyle. There are more projects in the pipeline and accomplishments that prompt me to show up differently. I also have experiences and wisdom that constantly hover over my decisions and they keep me in check.. I know better, so I have to do better. I feel my value going up everyday with small changes to my attitude and the type of interactions I entertain and contribute to. Basically, ya no estamos en mi rancho, this is a New Realm to me. As much as I practice grounding, part of being grounded is accepting my current timeline and rejecting the lowliness that tells me I should be accepting and grateful for every single connection that comes in. Not only that, the lowliness will also convince me to peacefully receive and enable inconsistency and disregard. It doesn’t work like that any more. I am no longer in a love drought or do I lack love in any sense. So I am not always satisfied, let alone grateful for the half ass rinky dink connections recent romantic interests have tried to offer me. If I wanted damaged goods for a fair price I would look into facebook marketplace, babe. I am no longer accepting any links that are not on brand. Not to mention I have recently experienced extreme heartbreak. Heartbreak caused by the direct results of not enforcing a real boundary around my self worth and settling for something I knew I did not ultimately desire.. Now I just literally cannot. It’s a very exhilarating experience.

I am able to recognize a healthy character very early on as well as an unhealthy one and I feel sober enough to do the right thing for me first. But with that exhilaration also comes secondhand embarrassment and aversion for those who approach me on bullshit! My higher self is embarrassed, my inner child feels offended, confused, attacked and sad. I have found relief in radical truth with myself. I have confronted myself very honestly. Through journaling I send questions inward with no inhibitions. I ask my inner child to tell me what’s wrong and offer her safety and protection in return for her answer. I deliberately include her input when I explore these situations. For example, accepting comfortably that I would appreciate an apology, this is more difficult than it sounds; especially if you have always seen deprivation of consideration and compassion as constant or normal. Sometimes I’ve had to admit that I got my hopes up and that I feel confused and hurt. This brings up shame and disappointment but hey, when I call it what it is, I am able to better gauge my reaction and more efficiently work to apply the lesson. I am learning to freely express my needs. It takes courage, but it has led me to grow very quickly. It weeds out the rinky dinks and I can also easily see who is truly about me. I can feel the growth and I can see myself in a new light. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. This has fortunately given me confidence in the suitors that I am attracting with similar frequency as mine. I’m getting better at also spotting and feeling worthy of affection from them. The sexually liberated, crypto holding, confident, protective kind, okay! 🌶 So there is my current disposition, next blast I’m spilling tea and giving advice. Xoxo

RITUAL & INTENTION: MOLDAVITE

About a month ago, I was called to work with moldavite. Just in time for retrogrades and eclipses 💕 so sweet 💕 :/.  Let me tell you girl, this shit is no joke. I have worked with this stone before, in like 2018 when I first purchased it, but at the rate my life moves that feels like eons ago. There is more at stake now. I am also wiser and older. So anyway, the main things I am able to share from my work with this stone is, 

 - Everything is all of a sudden BLATANT. There are very few gray areas for me at this time. If something seems off, bitch it’s off. The moldavite be like, Let’s not pretend. This has been rough for me because I love living in the world of what if.. I like to give the benefit of the doubt to even the most undeserving situations. There is no such thing as that for me at the moment. A lot of self confrontation is happening, and I have to be graceful. I can’t be belligerent and act entitled. It has taught me that I create each circumstance with my voice, my reactions, my actions and most importantly, my perspective. 

- Self love is key. I understand we need each other to reflect the growth that happens in private. But if nothing is happening in private, if we don't have conviction for our own spiritual hygiene then what can we possibly bring to others? Again, radical truth is a strong theme. Moldavite makes shadow work stink like a pile of dirty laundry. So if you don’t want to live in that shit, you must wash it. There are no shortcuts.

I luv youtube. I love to watch very well researched videos. My favorite so far are film theories or analysis about tv shows. When they’re like, “Why did Aidan forgive Carrie so many times?” I’ll click it with no hesitation. My favorite recently has been theories about SpongeBob. There is soo manyyy. Omg that shit is so on point and nice to watch, especially when the production is great. I’ll link below
