Attn assigned tribe: As the world continues to toss and turn, it pays off to be receptive and alert. Something that has saved me a lot of grief recently is accepting some things as stationary as they come. If you are like me, as soon as shit hits the fan you go and look up the planetary transits. To be honest I only understand a small fraction of the information but I read it through and try my best to find peace in the vastness of the celestial landscape. I find comfort in knowing that there’s nothing I can do to make the planets or the moon or the sun move faster or slower. All I can do is apply the information and movements as unapologetic and unmerciful as they show up. All I can do is mind my goofy ass business and react constructively to the constant shifts and uncontrollable changes. Most recently, I was having friction in one of my most intimate relationships, I opened ‘The Pattern’ just to see what it said about our situation. It didn’t say anything I didn't already know. It pointed out all the most hurtful flaws, and the most exciting components to the relationship. It definitely gave me the insight I was looking for. Most of all, and most importantly it reminded me that some things are non negotiable. Some things are in place and affect you whether you are aware or in agreement or not. They exist independent of our approval or disapproval. The Pattern app uses phrases like, “this is just a pattern that exists between you, so try to not take personally”. As soon as I read reiterations of that phrase multiple times, as the app explained where the problems were coming from on an astrological level, that shit woke my game up. We are constantly being confronted with situations and concepts that simply cannot be changed or modified in the slightest. This idea requires us to behave with grace and self compassion. For somebody like myself, who likes to have my hand in everything, it is a very debilitating thought to not be able to fix certain things. It feels weak to not be able to talk sense into a person or a situation and help it change to my liking that way. But we are being called to relinquish control and in return we are being offered infinite security. It’s so profound and so fucked up that that’s what it takes. I feel like I’m 17 and my mom took my phone foreal. And sometimes that’s the point. To feel yourself within the immature emotion and accept where growth is necessary. It requires us to fully surrender to Spirit. It requires us to pray and trust and trust and pray! We are called to Submit, Surrender, Subscribe to the voice and the advances of Spirit. Submit meaning, you are teachable, malleable and do not question things that are simply not up for debate. You do not fall victim to the traps set up to create chaos and stress. Your intuition will tell you when something is worth spending energy trying to make sense of and when it is not. Surrender meaning you are comfortable and joyful within the idea that you are no longer in control and that you are eager and willing to move in whatever direction you are being divinely guided. Subscribe meaning that you are on alert and in no way dormant or chillin. You are focused and waiting for queues that will open doors and create opportunities that will lead to further advancement on the sacred path. Thank you all for your attention and love.
